Since I did not found any particular application to make a selection of random and different (if possible) combinations of user defined objects, I took the ride and I made my own using Calc features. The experience was great while it turned out that this game is appropriate for various educational needs. In my case I come to the need of such an application when I applied bingo game (along with a appropriate Geogebra file: see my webpage ) in order to teach graphical representations of trigonometric functions.
The teacher type in the Bingo sheet the questions and the corresponding answers and he/she gets the cards in the Bingo Cards sheet.Ī printer is required to print the BINGO cards and a scissor to cut them apart while the classroom should be equipped with a projector and a computer running OpenOffice or LibreOffice. This extension provides Calc with a tool able to create Bingo Cards and the corresponding interactive document to play the game in the classroom. The students will love it and the teacher will have a very nice time! Instead of solving exercises in serial form in the classroom, it is better to wrap the solving exercises experience with a game similar to Bingo.
